Look, a diva has difficulty closing cupboards. 💅
Not because they don't want to close them. They just opened the cupboard, got the thing that was needed, immediately moved on to the next thought and apparently the cupboard door ceased to exist.
A familiar sight in many an ADHD household. 😂
The A Diva Has Difficulty Closing Cupboards vinyl decal is a silly little reminder to shut the bloody cupboard — without your kitchen having to look like it's covered in boring reminder labels.
Pop it directly onto a kitchen cupboard as a gentle prompt for yourself, your partner or that one member of the household who apparently believes cupboard doors are purely decorative.
Choose black or white vinyl to suit your kitchen, plus three sizes depending on whether you'd like your reminder to be subtle or... considerably harder to ignore.
Choose your colour
Available in:
- Black
- White
Black works particularly well on lighter cupboards, while white is ideal for darker or colourful surfaces.
Choose your size
Available in three sizes:
- Small — longest side approx. 10cm
- Medium — longest side approx. 15cm
- Large — longest side approx. 20cm
How to apply your decal
- Make sure your surface is clean, completely dry and free from grease or dust.
- Before peeling anything away, firmly rub over the whole design to make sure the vinyl is properly attached to the transfer tape. A squeegee works best, but the edge of a ruler or credit card will do the job too.
- Slowly peel away the backing paper, leaving the vinyl design attached to the clear transfer tape.
- Position your decal where you'd like it, then press it firmly onto the surface.
- Using your squeegee, ruler or credit card, firmly rub across the entire design, applying plenty of pressure and paying extra attention to smaller letters and details.
- Slowly peel the transfer tape back on itself rather than pulling it straight away from the surface.
Being a stubborn little bugger?
If any part of the vinyl hasn't stuck to the surface as you peel the transfer tape away, don't keep pulling. Lay the transfer tape back down and firmly rub over that area again with your squeegee, ruler or credit card. Sometimes it just needs a bit more pressure and patience before it behaves (same, lol).
How to remove
When you're ready to remove it, carefully lift an edge of the vinyl and slowly peel it back on itself.
If it's feeling stubborn, gently warm the vinyl with a hairdryer on a low setting to help soften the adhesive.
Vinyl decals are designed to be removable, but surfaces and finishes vary, so please take extra care with painted, delicate or recently decorated surfaces. Damage-free removal can't be guaranteed on every surface.
Where can I stick it?
This one was made with kitchen cupboards in mind, but the vinyl works best on smooth, clean surfaces such as cupboards, fridges, glass, mirrors, tiles and smooth furniture.
Textured, rough or freshly painted surfaces aren't recommended.
