ERROR 404: Action required to complete tasks. Take meds.

For when your brain needs a notification it physically cannot swipe away.

This retro computer error-style vinyl decal is designed as a visual medication reminder for your mirror, bathroom cabinet or wherever you're most likely to actually see it during your morning routine. Because remembering the thing that helps you remember things is, frankly, a ridiculous system.

A fun little piece of neurodivergent home decor that's practical and considerably cuter than another phone alarm you've already learned to ignore.

Each decal is cut and weeded by hand by me at Sad Disco Club, then supplied with transfer tape already applied so it's ready to stick.

Choose your size & colour

Available in black or white vinyl.

  • Small – longest side approx. 10cm
  • Medium – longest side approx. 15cm
  • Large – longest side approx. 20cm

As proportions vary between designs, the measurement refers to the longest side of the finished decal.

Where can I stick it?

These decals work best on clean, smooth, non-porous surfaces, including mirrors, glass, tiles, windows, smooth cupboards and cabinets, and other smooth sealed surfaces.

This one is particularly good somewhere you'll naturally see it as part of your routine – bathroom mirror, dressing-table mirror, mirrored cabinet or by wherever you keep your medication.

Top tip: textured, dusty, damp or porous surfaces can prevent the vinyl from sticking properly, so smooth surfaces are your best bet.

How to apply

Make sure the surface is clean, completely dry and free from grease or dust.

Before removing the backing, firmly rub over the entire design to make sure the vinyl has adhered to the transfer tape. A squeegee works best, but a ruler or credit card works perfectly well too.

Slowly peel away the backing paper, leaving the vinyl attached to the transfer tape.

Position your decal, press it onto the surface and use your squeegee, ruler or credit card to apply firm, even pressure across the whole design. Pay extra attention to the lettering and smaller details.

Slowly peel the transfer tape back on itself rather than pulling it directly away from the surface.

If part of the design hasn't transferred: lay the transfer tape back down, apply firm pressure again and slowly retry. Some of those tiny vinyl details occasionally need a little extra persuasion.

How to remove

Gently lift an edge of the vinyl and slowly peel it back from the surface.

For stubborn vinyl, a little gentle heat from a hairdryer can help soften the adhesive. Any remaining residue can usually be removed with an appropriate surface-safe cleaner.
